Cloud Adoption Continues to Expand

Posted on: April 8th, 2015 | Category: Cloud Computing

In the world of Cloud Compute resources, industry analysts predict that by 2020 the common use of Cloud Servers will be in the Hybrid Cloud model.  The trend reinforces that cloud adoption continues to grow, but most industries are looking at it as a way to cost effectively extend the IT environments of the business.  Enhanced virtualization simplifies bridging local private clouds with other cloud offerings.

Several use cases exist – acquisitions and business expansion in other geographic locations, building out of additional resources in businesses with highly seasonal demands, (Cloud Bursting), and disaster recovery considerations.  Also, consider evaluation of your operational needs and perhaps maintain the most critical operations on your private cloud and transfer less sensitive operations to more efficient public cloud service providers where economies of scale provide significant cost savings.
